SMART goals

In addition to what was seen in class, I would like to share the following:

It's crucial as a digital marketing strategists to define SMART goals in order to develop a digital marketing plan.

S - Specific

M - Measurable

A - Achievable

R - Relevant

T - Time-bound

SMART goals are the base to define strategy, tactics and key performance indicators (KPI's). We need to define well them to know if our plan was successful or not. Some examples of SMART goals that we discussed in class:

- Increase new online customers for women's apparel by 10% by Dec 2021.

- Raise brand awareness by driving traffic to the website by 10% by mid-Nov 2020.

- Get 100 free online demo sign-ups by increasing web traffic for Toronto Colleges by 10% by July 2021.
